CEOLon is the CEO of both CDL Nuclear and CardioNavix as well as the Chief Radiation Safety Officer for both entities. Dedicated to the success of the company’s mission to unite advanced cardiovascular imaging technology with the latest medical knowledge while serving the best interests of physicians and their patients, Lon supports, motivates, and engages with each employee and position within CDL Nuclear and CardioNavix.
Prior to being named CEO, Lon served as CDL Nuclear’s Vice President of Nuclear Cardiology and Molecular PET Operations for CDL Medical before becoming President of the organization in 2005. Lon joined CDL in 1994 as the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and Nuclear Medicine. Lon is passionate about the field of Nuclear Cardiology and has dedicated over 35 years to the continued growth and expansion into molecular imaging.
After obtaining his degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology, Lon started his career as an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer and Radiation Safety Specialist for Westinghouse Electric in the Nuclear Pressurized Water Reactor Division. He worked with a specialized team to develop enhanced in- service inspection and replaceability of the critical control rod drive mechanism for the control rods that are inserted into the core of the nuclear reactor and adjusted in order to control the rate of the nuclear chain reaction. Transferring his knowledge in nuclear physics to the new expanding field of Nuclear Medicine, Lon attained his next degree in Nuclear Medicine and prior to joining CDL in 1994, Lon was the Nuclear Cardiology Department Supervisor at Allegheny General Hospital for 6 years where he also served as the technical director for nuclear cardiovascular research.
Lon is board-certified in Nuclear Medicine Technology, holds a degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology, and is a licensed Radiation Safety Officer. He is active with several of the national cardiovascular imaging societies, notably the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. Lon consults with several state Departments of Environmental Protection licensing branches and the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission on radiation safety and radioactive materials licensing matters. Lon holds several United States patents for diagnostic medical devices, including CardioNavix, of which he is a co-owner and co-developer.
Lon is also the current President and CEO of the Cardiac PET Industry Coalition which works on behalf of the cardiovascular Positron Emission Tomography imaging industry and is at the forefront of advocacy, quality patient care and innovation to advance the field and practice of diagnostic cardiovascular molecular imaging.

Chief Financial OfficerAs Chief Financial Officer of CDL Nuclear Technologies, Scott Leya is responsible for Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, and IT.
Scott joined the company in 2022, bringing more than 30 years of experience which included accounting, finance, IT, HR, supply chain, construction management and operations.
Prior to joining CDL, Scott was the CFO for Primanti Bros., an iconic PE backed restaurant chain. Scott helped in leading the growth of the company from 17 to 40 restaurants in 5 states and he led the sale of the company from LCatterton to Garnett Station Partners in early 2022.
Prior to joining Primanti’s, Scott was with MedExpress Urgent Care, a PE backed urgent care company, helping lead the company grow from seven centers to over one hundred in a five-year period. Scott helped lead the sale of the company from Excellere Partners to General Atlantic and Sequoia Capital.
Prior to joining MedExpress, Scott was the Assistant Corporate Controller for American Dental Partners, a publicly held dental management service company with operations in nineteen states.
Scott’s experience also includes time with a regional CPA firm and a regional wholesaler.
Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is a Certified Public Accountant with PICPA and AICPA memberships.

Chief Commercial OfficerAs Chief Commercial Officer of CDL Nuclear Technologies, Chris Baer is responsible for:
Establishing the Commercial strategy and team to take CDL’s proprietary model and technology to the cardiology marketplace across the US in private practices and the hospital marketplace.
Chris joined the company early in 2022, bringing more that 25 years of commerical experience in the medical device space across both large publicly held and smaller privately held organizations.
Prior to joining CDL, Chris was the Vice President of Commercial Operations at Impulse Dynamics and prior to that a Vice President and General Manager at Abbott in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Division.
Chris holds a Pharmacy degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Brendon Loiselle

Chief Business Development OfficerAs Chief Business Development Officer of CDL Nuclear Technologies, Brendon Loiselle is responsible for the CardioNavix service line, Strategic Partnerships, and Partner Productivity.
Brendon joined the company in 2014, bringing more than 6 years of experience in project lifecycle management, supply chain management, and enterprise resource planning.
Prior to joining CDL, Brendon was an independent consultant for the U.S. Navy. While with the Navy, Brendon managed the design and implementation of procurement and materials management systems for Navy ERP.
Prior to that, Brendon was a consultant at Accenture, the largest IT services company in the U.S. Brendon worked with the U.S. Army GFEBS project where he led design, build, and testing efforts for the Army’s worldwide supply chain management system.
Brendon holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Virginia Polytechnic and State University.

Heather Hurst

Chief Compliance OfficerAs Chief Compliance Officer of CDL Nuclear Technologies, Heather Hurst is responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining a Corporate Compliance Program that meets the needs of the business and regulatory expectations. Heather works with leadership and others to identify risk and develop mitigation plans to reduce risk. Part of risk mitigation includes developing training and communication plans to educate the organization on compliance and monitoring and auditing plans to assess compliance program effectiveness.
Heather joined the company in 2023, bringing more than 15 years of ethics and compliance program experience in both medical device and provider-based healthcare. Heather also has a background in quality and quality management systems.
Prior to joining CDL, Heather was the Vice President and Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer for Cook Medical, a medical device manufacturing and sales organization, where she was responsible for the global Ethics & Compliance Program.
Prior to joining Cook Medical, Heather served as the Corporate Compliance and Privacy Officer for ProCure Treatment Centers, a company that builds and operates proton therapy treatment centers for patients with cancer. At ProCure, Heather developed, implemented, and evolved the corporate compliance and privacy programs.
Heather holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Southern Utah University, an MBA from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Master of Jurisprudence with a focus in healthcare regulation and compliance from IU McKinney School of Law. She also holds multiple certifications in compliance: Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP, Society for Corporate Compliance and Ethics), Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC, Health Care Compliance Association), and Leadership Professional in Ethics and Compliance (LPEC, Ethics & Compliance Initiative).
