Registered Nurse for Cardiac PET Stress Testing

Amityville, NY

CDL Nuclear Technologies is looking for a part-time Registered Nurse for cardiac PET stress testing to monitor and assist with patient care during cardiac PET stress testing in one client facility located in Amityville, NY.  The position will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, daylight hours.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Patient assessment
  • Obtaining brief history and physical
  • Establishing IV access
  • Preparing and monitoring patient and rhythm assessment during exam
  • Documentation

 Must Haves (Basic Qualifications):

  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program
  • Current State of NY RN License
  • 2+ years of experience with critical care experience or telemetry experience
  • IV experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS
  • Valid driver’s license

Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Radiology Nurse experience
  • Proven leadership skills, demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Extreme reliability
  • Experience with working independently
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, well organized, flexible, works well with complex issues
  • Ability to multi-task and work in team environment
