Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Immediately seeking a reliable and highly motivated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to fulfill a full-time position performing both Cardiac PET and Cardiac SPECT exams in client facilities in and within a 3 hour radius of the Houston, Texas area. Must be willing to travel between client sites for this position.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Quality Control
  • IV Therapy and patient prep
  • Operation of PET/CT camera and Rubidium-82 system during Cardiac PET procedure
  • Troubleshooting
  • Following ALARA Principles and Radiation Safety

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A graduate of an accredited program for Nuclear Medicine
  • Current certification by ARRT or NMTCB
  • 2 years working experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Willingness to learn
  • Proven leadership skills, demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Extreme reliability
  • Experience with working independently
  • Excellent with radiation safety and ALARA principles
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record


  • Cardiac PET experience
